Gaston’s Tavern

Nestled in the corner of Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland, (right between two lovely ladies – Ariel and Belle) is Gaston’s Tavern which is a counter service snack stop that looks SO much like his tavern in Beauty and the Beast!

And yes, I can confirm he DOES, in fact, use antlers in all of his decorating. I don’t know if it’s this way now but it was so quiet in Gaston’s Tavern that it seemed like such a nice spot to relax for a little bit.

We had to know what all the hype was about with this LeFou’s Brew so we decided to give it a try.

Mark loved LaFou’s Brew and I liked it but it’s not my favorite (I don’t like apple OR marshmallow flavored things). This is a frozen concoction of apple and marshmallow flavors with apparently a mango-passion fruit (?) froth on top. I liked the froth a lot. I’ll take a shooter of the froth to go, please. Oh, they don’t do that? Darn. Next time we’ll try the Roasted Pork Shank and a Cinnamon Roll!

Post Edit: On our most recent trip we tried the Pork Shank!

It proved to be worth all the build up! The pork literally falls off the bone and is very flavorful and juicy! It made a great lunch for the two of us to share along with some fresh raw veggies. We have still yet to try the cinnamon roll but we hear it’s very similar to those famous and illustrious Main Street Bakery rolls so we can’t wait to try one on the next trip!
